T20 World Cup 2012 in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka.


ICC World Twenty20 is the international championship of Twenty20 Cricket. It is commonly abridged as T20 cricket. As the name suggests, the game is organized by ICC (International Cricket Council), the governing body of cricket in the world. The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 will be the fourth ICC World Twenty20 competition. The international Twenty20 cricket tournament is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka between September 18 and October 7, 2012. T20 World Cup 2012 will be the first World Twenty20 tournament held in an Asian country, the last three being held in South Africa, England and the West Indies respectively.
