In the year 2012, twelve teams will participate in the ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Out of twelve, 10 full members of ICC would qualify automatically. For the remaining two spots, sixteen qualifier teams will play ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier in early 2012. The tournament will include six ODI members and ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournament. Two teams entering into final would be qualified for ICC World Twenty20 2012.
